Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clifton Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Barnes sprawls well. Barnes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
We've been told by Silva's head coaches at The Barracks - LOD that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Barnes tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barnes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round but I would say that Junior Silva will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Junior Silva.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
