Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Vladimirovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vladimirovich comes into the arena with Kalinka blaring out of the sound system. Foster has chosen If you want blood - AC/DC as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Martin Foster! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vladimirovich throws the kick towards the body but Foster avoids it. Foster throws a jab when Vladimirovich was well out of range. We've been hearing reports that Vladimirovich has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Vladimirovich closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Foster did well to prevent Vladimirovich getting side control. Foster has hold of Vladimirovich's hands but Vladimirovich slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Vladimirovich lands strikes from half guard. Vladimirovich stalling away here and it's allowed Foster to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Foster has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Tycoon Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Foster keeping moving, preventing Vladimirovich from controlling successfully. Vladimirovich is pushing down on Foster's leg trying to pass to half guard. Foster is fighting to maintain full guard but Vladimirovich has managed to sneak the leg through. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Foster is looking to escape. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Foster is refusing to be controlled, as Vladimirovich sits in half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Vladimirovich lands a nice short elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Foster wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vladimirovich working Foster over with strikes. Vladimirovich landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Vladimirovich thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Foster's head. Foster tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Vladimirovich manages to move to mount!
Vladimirovich lands a nice shot to the head. Vladimirovich connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vladimirovich looking to control but Foster is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Vladimirovich has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Foster is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Vladimirovich lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Foster is looking to get to half guard. Vladimirovich scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Foster?
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Foster can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vladimirovich lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Foster is looking to get to half guard. Vladimirovich with the ground and pound from mount. Vladimirovich trying to control but Foster is having none of it. Vladimirovich pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Foster is working to get back to half guard.

Foster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vladimirovich. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Vladimirovich putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Vladimirovich scoring with strikes but Foster is staying in there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vladimirovich with good strikes from the mount here! Vladimirovich lands a heavy elbow. Foster tries to reverse the position but Vladimirovich maintains control. Vladimirovich scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Foster?

Foster is desperately trying to improve his position but Vladimirovich has a good base and remains in mount. Foster looks winded! Vladimirovich can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Foster is looking to escape. Vladimirovich takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Foster is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Vladimirovich breaks from Foster's wrist control and lands an elbow. Foster is in a horrible position here. Vladimirovich smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Vladimirovich wants to control the pace but Foster is squirming around nicely. Foster in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Vladimirovich unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Foster wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Vladimirovich celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
