The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bass throws a right and a left that both miss.
Alves throws a leg kick
and Bass counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Hector Alves has been cut.
Alves lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bass throws a sloppy head kick and Alves moves out of range easily.
Bass lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bass.
Alves avoids the head kick by Bass.
Alves checks a leg kick nicely.
Alves misses with an uppercut.
Alves moves out of range as Bass strikes.
Bass lands a head kick!
Alves is rocked!
Bass pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Alves is still on wobbly legs! Can Bass finish him?

Alves misses with a lunging right hand
and Bass counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Bass looks at the referee who does nothing so Bass lands a crushing right that sends Alves to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Teddy Bass!
A relieved looking Teddy Bass thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
