Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hathaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Hathaway told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva's corner calls for a 1-2. Silva obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Hathaway clinches.
Hathaway stalling against the cage.
Hathaway tries a body shot but Silva blocks it.
Hathaway wants a takedown.
Hathaway tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silva smiles and moves away.
Silva scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hathaway jabs at Silva's body.
Silva drops Hathaway with a beautiful combination! Hathaway stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Silva is looking for the KO!

It looks like Mike Hathaway has been cut.

Hathaway is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him?
A big left from Silva misses.
Silva fails to land with a series of punches.
Anderson Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Hathaway head around and knocks him out cold! Silva hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
