Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raul Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darek Skarga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is La Raza. Skarga has chosen Highway to Hell as his entrance music. Raul Sanchez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Raul Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darek Skarga!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skarga throws the kick towards the body but Sanchez avoids it.
Sanchez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sanchez thows a body shot but no joy.
Sloppy strikes from Sanchez. Those never looked like landing.
That kick from Skarga tenderised Sanchez's leg. Sanchez is trying to keep his angry face on.
Darek Skarga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Skarga lands a big head kick that sends Sanchez tumbling to the mat! Skarga takes a step backwards and waves Sanchez back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sanchez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sanchez working hard to break the clinch.
Sanchez is trying to force a seperation but Skarga has the dominant position.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Skarga takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Sanchez tries to break the clinch but Skarga is controlling the position.
Sanchez takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Raul Sanchez has been cut.
A frustrated look appears on Sanchez's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Skarga looking to throw knees to the head but Sanchez is blocking nicely.
Come on Skarga - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Skarga looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Skarga drops Sanchez with a big knee straight up the middle! Sanchez is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Sanchez is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sanchez gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Darek Skarga!
Darek Skarga decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
