The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargas lands with a thumping leg kick.
Vargas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Weatherspoon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vargas's waist but Vargas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Weatherspoon off to one side.
Weatherspoon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vargas circles away.
Weatherspoon looks gassed!
Vargas misses with a few strikes there.
Vargas misses with a series of wild punches.
Vargas misses with the combination.
Vargas lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Weatherspoon falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
