Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Comanche Todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mason is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kavinsky - Nightcall. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Comanche Todd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Mason!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Todd swinging wildly here.
Mason keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Todd misses with a series of wild punches.
Todd looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Todd misses with a left hand
and Mason counters with a left and a right that hurts Todd! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Mason jumps into full mount!
Todd is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mason has hold of Todd's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Todd manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Oh Todd is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mason is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Todd is surviving well by controlling Mason's body position as best he can.
Todd knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mason on the ground.
Mason goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Todd turns into him and now he's in Mason's guard.
Todd seems to have got his legs back now.
Mason throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Todd has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mason to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Todd is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mason pulls down on the head and he's put Todd to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Alex Mason!
Alex Mason decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
