Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Shore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Shore. Shore ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Moore gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Shore trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Moore manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Shore looking to hit a scissor sweep but Moore is one step ahead there. Shore throwing short punches from the bottom. Shore looking to hit a scissor sweep but Moore is one step ahead there. Shore is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shore is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Moore trying to control the position from guard on top but Shore is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Shore shoots in looking for a takedown. Moore tries to sprawl out of it but Shore keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Moore manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Shore circles away from the clinch attempt.
Moore is looking to clinch but Shore is avoiding it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Nice takedown defense from Moore. No joy for Shore on that attempt. Jay Moore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Shore. Shore fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Shore avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Shore misses with an uppercut. Shore misses with a head kick.
Shore scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moore is trying to maintain the position but Shore is very close to passing his half guard. Moore actively working from the bottom here. Moore gets full guard. Shore passes into half guard. Ground and pound from Shore. Moore trying to hold on to Shore's head to control him but Shore postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Shore looks gassed! Moore lands with a few short shots to the body. Shore is nestled in close to Moore, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Moore moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Shore distracts Moore with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Moore utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Moore might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Moore not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Shore stands up over Moore, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Shore stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moore swivels though and keeps the full guard. Moore is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Moore working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Shore is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Moore stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Shore dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Moore gets in close and instigates a clinch. Moore prevents the takedown attempt.

It looks like Peter Shore has been cut. Moore lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Moore manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Shore trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Moore lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Shore! Shore is breathing heavily. Shore is in a horrible position here. Moore smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Moore jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Shore manages to avoid the submission attempt. Shore tries to buck Moore off but Moore is having none of it. Moore is looking to take a break and control but Shore is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Moore scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Shore to see if he's OK. Shore is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shore on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Shore is looking to regain half guard here but Moore keeps moving and retains side control. Moore wants to lay and pray for a moment but Shore keeps working.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Moore tries to close the distance and clinch but Shore swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Shore cracks Moore with an open hand slap. Moore tries to clinch but Shore is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shore avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Shore shoots in for a double leg but Moore sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Moore tries to clinch but Shore is having none of it. Moore fails in his attempt to clinch. Shore shoots for a takedown but Moore saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jay Moore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Shore tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Moore swivels and escapes. Moore wants to clinch. Moore is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Shore swats away the attempt to clinch by Moore. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Moore dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Peter Shore's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

That's going to take a lot out of Peter Shore. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shore shoots in for a takedown but Moore shows good takedown defense. Shore takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Moore with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Shore to score with a decent uppercut. Shore misses with a leg kick. Excellent takedown into side control there by Shore. Moore is trying to control Shore's posture but Shore avoids it. Shore in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Moore takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore is looking to regain half guard here but Shore keeps moving and retains side control. Shore working away. Shore has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Nice sprawl there from Moore as Shore shoots in. Shore tries for a takedown but Moore circles away easily and Moore counters with a nice double leg into guard. Moore works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shore is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Moore is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Shore! Moore has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Shore flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Shore is trying to escape the mount.
Moore working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Shore looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Moore! Submission of the night perhaps?
