The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Masio shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Reeves is trying to defend but Del Masio finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Reeves wants to get back to full guard but Del Masio has mounted him!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Del Masio fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Reeves, pushing him back against the cage.

Reeves throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Reeves enables Del Masio to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Reeves manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well Del Masio has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
