Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perry Pardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gegard Ghadafi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ghadafi has chosen Bagpipes From Baghdad by Eminem as his entrance music. Pardy has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Perry Pardy has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pardy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ghadafi.
Ghadafi misses with a hook
and Pardy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
No luck for Ghadafi with that takedown attempt.
Pardy wants to clinch up but Ghadafi keeps it at a distance.
Ghadafi fails to land the takedown.
Perry Pardy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gegard Ghadafi.
Ghadafi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ghadafi lands in his opponent's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ghadafi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A very excited looking Gegard Ghadafi rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
