Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dane Brigglett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kennedy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Killing in the name of - Rage against the Machine! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Dane Brigglett could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to John Kennedy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dane Brigglett! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Kennedy! The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Darius Henderson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kennedy throws a front kick that sends Brigglett stumbling back into the cage. Kennedy looks to score with a jab to the body but Brigglett is just out of range. Brigglett throws a jab but it's blocked by Kennedy. Kennedy lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Kennedy misses with a lunging right hand
and Brigglett counters with a nice uppercut. Kennedy misses with a looping right. Kennedy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brigglett throws out the jab. Kennedy moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Kennedy fails in his attempt to clinch. The fighters circling - Brigglett throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Brigglett misses with a left hand and Kennedy counters with a nice body kick. Brigglett does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Brigglett lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kennedy circles away quickly and effectively. Kennedy lands a head kick. Brigglett smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Dane Brigglett has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brigglett walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Kennedy moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. John Kennedy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brigglett takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Good standup being displayed there by Kennedy as he connects with a hook. Kennedy takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Kennedy chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Brigglett misses the jab. Kennedy lands with a slapping head kick. Kennedy scores with a nice head shot. Kennedy listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Kennedy pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Kennedy tries to clinch up but Brigglett circles away and keeps his distance. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A jab from Kennedy does it's job there. Brigglett scores with a punch to the head. Kennedy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Brigglett stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kennedy lands with a straight right. Brigglett didn't see that one coming. Kennedy lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Kennedy throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Brigglett takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Brigglett ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Brigglett with a hook. Kennedy connects with the punch. The fight stays on the outside here - Kennedy looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Brigglett tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. A telegraphed right hand from Kennedy misses the target. Kennedy changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kennedy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kennedy tries to clinch there but Brigglett circles away.
Kennedy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Brigglett counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kennedy dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kennedy slips a straight right by Brigglett. Brigglett misses with a wild body shot. Kennedy throws a hook to the side of Brigglett's head but Brigglett sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Brigglett throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kennedy sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kennedy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brigglett.
Brigglett throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Brigglett throws a hook but Kennedy avoids it easily. Kennedy connects with a nice looking jab.
Brigglett clinches. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brigglett takes an elbow to the forehead. Kennedy blocks a body shot from Brigglett.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kennedy lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Brigglett backwards. Kennedy throws an elbow but it's blocked.
A battle for position here, against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Kennedy fails to land. Kennedy scores with an uppercut up the middle. Kennedy blocks a body shot from Brigglett. Kennedy lands an elbow inside. Brigglett's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Dane Brigglett's cut is getting worse. Brigglett trying to control the position but instead, Kennedy has worked for underhooks and has pushed Brigglett into the cage. Kennedy struggles to land a body shot inside as Brigglett controls his hands.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Brigglett takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. With the fighters up against the cage, Kennedy throws an elbow but misses. Kennedy misses with a punch to the body.
Kennedy lands a shoulder strike. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Kennedy dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dane Brigglett's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Kennedy fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Kennedy rushes Brigglett and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kennedy misses with a punch to the body.

Brigglett misses with a hook from the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brigglett takes a shot to the head. Brigglett is trying to push Kennedy away but Kennedy has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Brigglett wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kennedy pushes off an throws an elbow but Brigglett leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Brigglett throws a punch but it's blocked by Kennedy. Brigglett taking a breather. Brigglett struggles to land a body shot inside as Kennedy controls his hands.

John Kennedy seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Brigglett scores with an uppercut up the middle. Brigglett is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Good body shot from Kennedy.

Kennedy lands an elbow inside. Still in the clinch, Kennedy scores with a nice short uppercut. Brigglett is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kennedy is keeping busy. Brigglett scores with a shot to the side of Kennedy's head. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kennedy. A short left from Brigglett. Brigglett misses with some punches.

As John Kennedy got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I'm here to win. Much love to my adversary.'. Dane Brigglett spoke after the fight, saying 'I want to apologize to all my fans! I went to the strip club last night and I still have a f*****g hangover...plus...My huge penis threw me off balance a few times during the fight, I may tape it to my leg next fight.'.
