The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stamatis misses the shot to the body.
Stamatis closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
McMorrow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stamatis was well out of range. Poor timing from McMorrow.
McMorrow lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

McMorrow trying to control the position from guard on top but Stamatis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Stamatis wants to get back to his feet but McMorrow is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
McMorrow slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
McMorrow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stamatis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stamatis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McMorrow's guard.
McMorrow is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sean McMorrow wasn't doing enough on the ground.
McMorrow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stamatis moves away.

Stamatis is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stamatis ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Stamatis is still on wobbly legs! Can McMorrow finish him?
McMorrow steps in with a hook that catches Stamatis right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! McMorrow follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Stamatis looks absolutely devastated.
