Clark fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Thompson sprawls well initially but Clark persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Thompson is looking for a sweep. Clark is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Clark is trying to control. Thompson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Thompson is controlling Clark's trapped leg to prevent Clark from advancing to side control.

Thompson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Clark's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Clark's back!

Thompson is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
