The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newell throws a sloppy head kick and Tooley moves out of range easily.
Tooley lands with a hook. Newell tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Declan Newell has been cut.
Newell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tooley connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Newell looks to land a combination but Tooley avoids it well.
Tooley looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Newell swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tooley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Declan Newell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Newell throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tooley counters with a left to the body.
Tooley throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Newell looks gassed!
Tooley lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Newell falls backwards - clearly groggy! Tooley dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
