The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Havoc shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sonnen is trying to defend but Havoc finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Sonnen shoots in looking for a takedown. Havoc tries to sprawl out of it but Sonnen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Havoc manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Havoc had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sonnen defends it easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Havoc can do anything to dispel that myth.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Havoc is on top in guard.

Sonnen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Havoc can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sonnen shoots in looking for a takedown but Havoc manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sonnen 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Havoc manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well Havoc has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
