The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Satanous misses with a wild body shot.
Namath dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Satanous misses with a right hand
and Namath makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Namath has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Satanous is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Satanous takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Lucifrous Satanous has been cut.
Satanous just misses with a punch to the body.
Lucifrous Satanous seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Namath walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Satanous checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Satanous tries to clinch but Namath is having none of it.

Namath scores with a hook to the body. Satanous takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Satanous dives in for a single leg takedown but Namath sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Satanous lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Satanous doesn't manage to clinch there - Namath circles away.

Namath feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Satanous's calf.
Satanous pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Namath lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Satanous circles away quickly and effectively.
