The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorvaldsson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Butler manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Thorvaldsson throws a big elbow that misses.

Butler could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Thorvaldsson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Butler, who protects the arm well.
You can see the frustration on Butler's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Butler dodges the ground and pound from Thorvaldsson.
Thorvaldsson tries to move into full mount but can't pass Butler's legs.
Butler gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Butler might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Thorvaldsson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Butler looks a forlorn figure.
It looks like Seymour Butler has been cut.
Thorvaldsson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Butler is looking to escape.
Thorvaldsson cracks Butler with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
