The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatake fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hatake dives in and grabs Naamahaara's left leg, looking for a takedown. Naamahaara pushes down on Hatake's head and hops out.
Naamahaara tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hatake throws a wild body kick that Naamahaara sees coming a mile off.
Hatake has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hatake throws a body punch but Naamahaara moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hatake. Naamahaara does a little dance to reset his feet.
Naamahaara gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Naamahaara wants to break free but Hatake has control.
Naamahaara creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hatake's defenses.
Naamahaara pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hatake misses with a double jab
and Naamahaara counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Hatake tries to clinch there but Naamahaara circles away.
A head kick misses from Naamahaara.
Hatake missing with a left hand there. Naamahaara was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Naamahaara blocks a head kick by Hatake.
Naamahaara throws a head kick that misses.

A bone on bone clash there as Naamahaara blocks the leg kick.
Naamahaara tries to land a front kick but Hatake steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Naamahaara on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hatake. Hatake obviously looking to wear him down.
Naamahaara is breathing heavily.
Hatake scores with a takedown into Naamahaara's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hatake gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Hatake lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Naamahaara circles away quickly and effectively.
Hatake shoots for a double leg takedown but Naamahaara sprawls well. He's pushed Hatake's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kamala Naamahaara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kakashi Hatake.
Hatake throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hatake shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Naamahaara as he avoids it easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hatake wants to clinch.
Naamahaara dodges the punch combination from Hatake.

We've been told by Naamahaara's head coaches at EVIL Smackdown Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Hatake has closed the distance and engaged Naamahaara in a clinch.

Hatake tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Naamahaara paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Naamahaara misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kakashi Hatake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hatake keeps the fight on the outside.
Hatake drops Naamahaara with a beautiful combination! Naamahaara stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hatake is looking for the KO!
It looks like Kamala Naamahaara has been cut.
Hatake misses with a head kick.

Hatake misses with the combination.
Hatake shoots in looking for a takedown. Naamahaara tries to sprawl out of it but Hatake keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Naamahaara manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hatake throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Naamahaara throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hatake's head.
Hatake blocks a head kick by Naamahaara.
Hatake darts in looking for a takedown but Naamahaara gets double underhooks and turns Hatake into the cage.
Naamahaara throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Hatake throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Hatake lands a nice shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hatake turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hatake manages to end up in side control.
Hatake has an Americana. Naamahaara didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hatake is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hatake hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Kakashi Hatake!
