Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack RIpper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jack RIpper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, King Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
RIpper fails to land with a series of punches.
RIpper tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tyson was well out of range. Poor timing from RIpper.
RIpper throws a head kick but Tyson moves out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

RIpper gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Tyson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

My spies in Hardcore Fitness Facility inform me that Tyson has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

RIpper is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Tyson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. RIpper avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Jack RIpper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Tyson.

RIpper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jack RIpper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyson throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Tyson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with RIpper but RIpper pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That kick from RIpper tenderised Tyson's leg. Tyson is trying to keep his angry face on.

Tyson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are working up against the cage. RIpper manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

RIpper pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
RIpper plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

RIpper tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
RIpper misses with a kick to the body.
Tyson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. RIpper defends it nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tyson dodges the punch combination from RIpper.
RIpper scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but King Tyson will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


RIpper goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


It looks like King Tyson has been cut.
RIpper throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A solid leg kick lands there for RIpper.
RIpper looks to land a combination but Tyson avoids it well.

Tyson shoots in looking for a takedown but RIpper manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tyson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

This has been an exciting period of action!

RIpper lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tyson circles away quickly and effectively.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jack RIpper will probably get the nod.

RIpper does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

King Tyson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
