Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ellis Healing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Bran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ellis Healing! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, George Bran! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bran misses with a double jab
and Healing counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Bran is looking to stand up but Healing isn't so interested in that idea. Healing stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bran swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bran looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Healing trying to control but Bran is working from the bottom. Healing seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Healing is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bran keeping full guard, as Healing tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bran is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Healing in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Healing trying to control but Bran is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bran moves in looking to clinch but Healing pushes him off. Healing shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bran defends it nicely. Healing fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Excellent takedown into side control there by Bran. Healing is not content to let Bran control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Healing manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bran's best efforts. Healing trying to hold on to Bran's head to control him but Bran postures up.
Bran really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Healing. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Healing is doing well to control the position and prevent Bran from advancing to side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Healing manages to get to full guard.
Healing is controlling Bran's posture. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bran postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Healing manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Healing is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bran to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bran shrugs it off. Healing swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bran is now in Healing's guard. A big mistake from Healing there, giving up the dominant position! Bran wants to stand but Healing is controlling his posture from full guard. Healing not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Healing is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bran controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Healing throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Bran escapes and throws Healing's legs to the side, diving into side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Healing tries to buck Bran off but Bran is having none of it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Healing struggling a bit here. Healing sneaks back into half guard. Bran trying to control from Healing's half guard. Healing has other ideas though and has regained full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Healing is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bran defends well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ellis Healing dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Healing darts in looking for a takedown but Bran gets double underhooks and turns Healing into the cage. Healing pulls guard successfully.

Bran is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Healing has taken his back.
Ellis Healing overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Healing is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
I really don't envy Bran right now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Healing keeps control of the position easily here as Bran tries to buck him off.
Healing working for a choke but Bran is defending well. Healing trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Bran trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Healing looking to break Bran's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Bran remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Healing will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! I would not like to be Bran right now.

Healing looking for the choke but no joy. Healing patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Healing gets his hands free as Bran looks to control. That's three minutes gone in the round. Healing working for a choke but Bran is defending well. Bran manages to reverse the position and now he's in Healing's guard. Nice work there by Bran.
Bran trying to control but Healing is working from the bottom. Healing controls Bran momentarily but Bran frees himself. Bran is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Healing has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bran is looking to defend but Healing has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bran! Healing pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bran taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ellis Healing! Ellis Healing decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
