Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caio Lucio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Caio Lucio!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucio throws a one two combo.
Austin takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Austin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lucio pinned against the cage. Lucio gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Frank Austin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lucio's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lucio duly obliges.
Austin dives in and scores a takedown into Lucio's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Austin advances position into side control!
A lull in the action here as Austin stalls from top position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Austin prevents Lucio from getting the reversal.
We're going to have a standup here because Frank Austin wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Lucio swings for the body but Austin moves out of range.
Lucio gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Austin to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Austin shoots in for a takedown but Lucio shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Frank Austin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Austin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Austin pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Caio Lucio has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Frank Austin.
Lucio uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Austin has time to react.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Austin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
