Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fred Power! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sam Angel! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Power pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Angel with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Power to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Sam Angel has been cut. Angel takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Angel avoids the body shot from Power.
Power cracks Angel with an uppercut from hell and Angel crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Power's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Angel is rocked! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Angel keeping moving, preventing Power from controlling successfully. Angel wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Angel keeping full guard, as Power tries to pass. Power pushes down on Angel's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Angel wants to control the action here but instead Power manages to pass to full mount! Angel is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Angel is desperately trying to improve his position but Power has a good base and remains in mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Angel tries to lock up and control but Power gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Power trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Power wants to control the pace but Angel is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fred Power dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sam Angel's cut. That's time! Power's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Angel gets in close and instigates a clinch. Power throws a punch but it's blocked by Angel. Angel putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Power in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Power can't find room to land a body shot as Angel controls the action.
Nice elbow from Angel.
It looks like Fred Power has been cut. Angel lands an elbow inside. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Angel working Power over with knees to the body. A nice glancing elbow lands by Angel. Angel lands an elbow that stopped Power in his tracks for a moment. Angel creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Power's defenses. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Angel using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Power takes a knee right on the jaw!
Angel lands an elbow just above Power 's eye. Angel lands an elbow that stopped Power in his tracks for a moment. Power takes a knee to the side of the body. Sam Angel seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Angel crunches a lovely knee into Power's ribcage. Angel lands a big knee! That's hurt Power! Oh, he's all over the place! Angel lands another knee that sends Power to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Angel!
