Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Tennant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Samuel Bellamy! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping leg kick lands for Bellamy.
No joy there for Tennant, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
David Tennant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tennant fails to land with a series of punches.
Nice defenses there by Tennant. A combination from Tennant does no damage. Bellamy takes one on the button. Tennant misses with a straight right. Tennant rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Tennant takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bellamy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Tennant throws a jab when Bellamy was well out of range. Tennant swings widly with a right hand
and Bellamy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bellamy defending well as Tennant loads up on a big left hand. Bellamy throws a right hand that Tennant ducks under and follows up with a left that Tennant also avoids with ease. Tennant looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Tennant looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Bellamy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bellamy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tennant swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bellamy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fighters circling - Tennant throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Nice defenses there by Bellamy. Bellamy forces Tennant back against the ropes and clinches. Bellamy lands with a short shot to the head. Tennant is trying to force a seperation but Bellamy has the dominant position. Bellamy connects with a nasty looking knee right to Tennant's face.
Tennant is trying to push Bellamy away but Bellamy has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Tennant blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Tennant avoids the elbow strike from Bellamy, against the ropes.
Bellamy looks to throw an elbow but misses. Tennant lands a shoulder strike. Tennant fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tennant misses with a hook from the clinch.

Tennant is breathing heavily. Bellamy stalls. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Bellamy creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Bellamy lands an elbow inside that Tennant shrugs off.
It looks like David Tennant has been cut. Tennant breaks from the clinch.
Bellamy gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Tennant misses with a hook from the clinch. Tennant tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Bellamy tries to throw a body punch but Tennant avoids it by throwing Bellamy back against the ropes. Tennant lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Bellamy scores with a push kick. Tennant misses the jab. Nice defenses there by Bellamy. Tennant throws a hook but Bellamy avoids it easily. Tennant throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bellamy throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Tennant. Bellamy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tennant. Tennant swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Bellamy paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Tennant misses with a combination
and Bellamy counters with a nice body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bellamy thuds a left hand into Tennant's body. Bellamy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Tennant throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bellamy. Tennant takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Tennant fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bellamy, pushing him back against the ropes. Tennant breaks from the clinch.

Tennant misses with a hook. Bellamy ducked under it nicely. A big right from Tennant misses. Bellamy moves in looking to clinch but Tennant pushes him off. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bellamy lands with an uppercut that bounces Tennant off the ropes and back into range. Some wild striking there from Tennant.
A jab from Tennant misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samuel Bellamy dominated that round. The cut man is working on David Tennant's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Tennant is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Tennant throws a poor cross that misses
and Bellamy counters with a crisp one two that drops Tennant! Bellamy thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Tennant to his feet! Tennant is in big trouble!
Tennant is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bellamy moves out of range as Tennant strikes. Oh Tennant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tennant jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Samuel Bellamy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tennant backs away from a small jab... but Bellamy lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Tennant crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Bellamy with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Samuel Bellamy! Our winner, Samuel Bellamy, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. In defeat, David Tennant stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sorry guys, I will improve myself again.'.
