Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ramazan Astakhov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ademir Azevado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Azevado clinches. Azevado is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Astakhov is keeping busy. Astakhov manages to pull guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Azevado is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

This could be trouble! No, Azevado has managed to free his arm - good work. Astakhov not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Astakhov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Azevado has a takedown stuffed. Astakhov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ramazan Astakhov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ademir Azevado. Azevado throws a low kick but Astakhov avoids it.

Azevado throws a hook but Astakhov blocks it. Azevado will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Azevado is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A lull in the action here as Astakhov stalls from top position. Azevado is still in real trouble! Can Astakhov finish him? Astakhov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Azevado, who protects the arm well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Astakhov working the head with strikes. Astakhov is trying to get an arm triangle but Azevado is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Astakhov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Azevado, who protects the arm well. Azevado wants to control but Astakhov postures up. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Astakhov scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Azevado is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Astakhov can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
