Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Remy Shark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dronjko Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Remy Shark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dronjko Black! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Black circles away from the clinch attempt.
Black throws a combination. Shark tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Remy Shark has been cut. Shark fails in his attempt to clinch. Shark tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Black clinches but Shark breaks the clinch and Shark counters by clinching up. Black stalling against the cage.
Shark misses with a knee strike.
Shark tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Black smiles and moves away.
Shark clinches. Shark drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Black gets the underhooks and prevents it.
With the fighters up against the cage, Shark throws an elbow but misses. Shark tries a knee to the head but Black blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Black lands a shoulder strike. Black is looking to break free of the clinch but Shark has double underhooks. Black wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Shark prevents Black from breaking the clinch. Shark has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Black is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Remy Shark. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Shark moves in looking to clinch but Black pushes him off. Black has taken the fight to the clinch.

Shark has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Black is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Shark is breathing heavily. A short right hand to the side of the head by Black. Black is stalling here.
Shark keeps control of Black as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Shark looking to throw knees to the head but Black is blocking nicely.
Shark has Black pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Black manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Shark wants to get back to striking at distance but Black won't allow it.

Shark unloads a knee to the mid-section. Black lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Shark breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Shark turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Shark manages to end up in side control. Shark stands up and beckons Black to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shark tries to move into range but Black moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Black closes the distance and clinches. Black blocks the elbow strike.

Black working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Shark's head.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Shark. Shark throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

The fight stays on the outside here - Shark looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Shark tries to clinch but fails miserably and Black counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Black closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Shark to the mat! Shark manages to get full guard. Black controls from within his opponent's guard. Shark is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Black is controlling him. Black trying to control the position from guard on top but Shark is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shark seems keen to control Black's posture. Shark utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Shark keeping moving, preventing Black from controlling successfully. Remy Shark has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Shark clinches but Black breaks the clinch and Black counters with a nice uppercut. Shark fails in his attempt to clinch. Black swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Remy Shark. Well Black has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
