The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Politoni but Politoni pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Politoni looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Wade!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Wade tries to improve position but can't.
Politoni scores with a couple of short elbows.
Wade is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Politoni grinds an elbow into Wade's temple.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big shot lands for Politoni! That's hurt Wade! Will he recover? Politoni fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
