Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ground Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Matiss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matiss is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ennio Morricone - The Ecstasy of Gold. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bot shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Matiss as he avoids it easily.
Matiss fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bot looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Matiss connects with a leg kick. Bot looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Matiss bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Matiss is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Matiss is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bot is defending well for now.

Matiss fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bot.

Matiss feints and then cracks Bot's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bot down.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Matiss takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bot shoots in for a takedown but Matiss shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

We've been hearing good reports from Bot's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Bot tries to hold on but Matiss postures up.

Well Matiss has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
