Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Burly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Quinton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bill Burly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ace Quinton! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burly tries to clinch but fails miserably and Quinton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Bill Burly has been cut. Quinton has closed the distance and engaged Burly in a clinch.
Quinton softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Quinton avoids the elbow strike from Burly, against the cage.
Quinton tries a body shot but Burly blocks it.
Burly tries to pull guard but Quinton won't allow it.
Quinton is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Burly jumps guard but Quinton stands there with Burly around his waist. Burly gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A short right from Burly on the inside. We've been hearing reports that Burly has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Burly tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Quinton's elbow. Burly misses with a shot to the kidneys.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Quinton. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Burly struggles to land a body shot inside as Quinton controls his hands.
Burly throws a head punch that misses. Quinton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Burly tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Quinton paws at him with a jab and circles away. Burly slips a jab and a cross from Quinton.
Quinton lands with a good body shot. Burly is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinton rushes Burly and presses him up against the cage. Quinton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Burly takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Quinton lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Quinton has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Quinton lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Burly tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Quinton paws at him with a jab and circles away. Quinton moves into the clinch. Quinton misses with a knee strike.
Burly blocks a body shot from Quinton. Burly is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Quinton to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill Burly. That's going to take a lot out of him. Quinton working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Burly jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Quinton walks away with a smile on his face. Burly gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Quinton clinches. A bit of stalling here from Quinton.
Quinton lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Quinton taking a breather.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burly manages to pull guard.
Quinton trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Quinton gets to his feet. Burly looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Ace Quinton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Quinton lands with a cross.
Bill Burly's cut is getting worse. Burly doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Burly closes the distance and clinches up with Quinton, looking for a takedown. Burly pushes Quinton against the cage but Quinton circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Burly on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Quinton feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Burlys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Quinton misses with a jab, cross combination.
Quinton lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Burly is rocked! Quinton lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Burly out cold! Burly is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ace Quinton! A relieved looking Ace Quinton thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
