Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RedHEED StepChild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Turner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, RedHEED StepChild! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! StepChild changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Turner looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. StepChild fails to land a wild elbow strike.
StepChild sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Turner is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
StepChild thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. StepChild working away. StepChild wants to lay and pray for a moment but Turner keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Turner is trying to escape the position but StepChild is controlling the position. StepChild wants to stand but Turner is controlling his arm. Turner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Turner prevents StepChild from improving position. Turner tries to improve position but can't. StepChild has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. StepChild creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Turner sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Turner can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but StepChild wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Turner is working hard here to advance position. An elbow from StepChild crashes against the mat.
Turner is trying to control StepChild's posture but StepChild avoids it. Turner tries to control but StepChild manages to take his back. StepChild is looking to control Turner but Turner is wriggling around and keeping busy. StepChild avoiding Turner 's attempts to control his hands. StepChild is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Turner in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! StepChild controlling from mount. Turner working to try and regain half guard.

Turner wants to hold on but StepChild pushes him away. StepChild lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Turner hang on? StepChild avoids the attempt from Turner to control. Turner is desperately trying to improve his position but StepChild has a good base and remains in mount. Turner is breathing heavily. StepChild misses with a head shot. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, StepChild cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Turner is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. StepChild trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. StepChild putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Turner is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. StepChild controlling from mount. Oh Turner is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! StepChild stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Turner seems to have got his legs back now. StepChild shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. StepChild showed some decent athleticism there. StepChild is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Turner has managed to free his arm - good work. Turner wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! StepChild not landing any meaningful shots this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
RedHEED StepChild dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
StepChild looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Turner! StepChild working away. StepChild is trying to get an arm triangle but Turner is defending well. StepChild trying to control the position but Turner is working away. RedHEED StepChild has got the better of the ground game so far. Check out the look on StepChild's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Turner is looking to work his way out of this bad position but StepChild is controlling him well. Turner trying to remain calm as StepChild controls from the top position. StepChild throwing shots but missing, from side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Turner stops StepChild from passing to mount. StepChild moves into full mount!

StepChild with shots to the head and body - Turner looks very uncomfortable down there. Turner holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as StepChild tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
StepChild wants to control the pace but Turner is squirming around nicely. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Turner tries to hold on but StepChild postures up. Turner is desperately trying to improve his position but StepChild has a good base and remains in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. StepChild loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Turner scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from StepChild land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. StepChild stands and salutes the crowd.
