And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Germain Lepreaust!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lepreaust blocks a head kick by Aberdeen.
Aberdeen is looking to clinch.

Aberdeen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Aberdeen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Lepreaust sneaks back into half guard.

Lepreaust is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Aberdeen pulls his head out easily.
Aberdeen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Aberdeen trying to control from half guard but Lepreaust is working away.
Aberdeen wants to pass to mount but Lepreaust is defending the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lepreaust looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Aberdeen prevents Lepreaust from improving his position.
Lepreaust is not content to let Aberdeen control the position.

Aberdeen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Lepreaust actively working from the bottom here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Aberdeen missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Aberdeen maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Lepreaust could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Aberdeen has cracked it and Lepreaust is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Aberdeen!
