The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dei Porti is trying hard to land a takedown here. Carnage sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Carnage rushes Dei Porti and presses him up against the cage.
Dei Porti has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Carnage after a bit of a struggle.
Carnage pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Carnage shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dei Porti is trying to defend but Carnage finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Carnage is keen to just control but Dei Porti is a slippery customer.

Carnage will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Dei Porti slips a nice elbow through Carnage's hands, connecting with Carnage's forehead.
