Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Andy Burns enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Penn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andy Burns! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn connects with a body shot that sends Burns's belly button to the back. Penn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Burns moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Penn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Burns moves away. Penn avoids a kick to the body.
Burns shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Burns tries to pass the half guard into mount. Penn knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Penn wants to get back to full guard. Burns is thwarting Penn's attempts to control the position. Burns looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Penn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Burns on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns wants to work for an arm triangle but Penn is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Penn definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Burns is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Penn doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Burns. Burns is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Penn is looking to control Burns's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Penn avoid being mounted? Penn is looking for a sweep. Burns is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Burns looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Burns is working for a submission of some sort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn tries to get to full guard but Burns has control of the leg. Burns is looking for a kimura but Penn is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Burns to get the leverage. Penn wants to get back to full guard but Burns has passed into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burns wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Penn, who protects the arm well. Burns thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Penn struggling a bit here. Penn tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Burns presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andy Burns dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Penn listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Burns misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Burns has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Penn finds it's way round the side to connect with Burns's head. Burns thows a left - swing and a miss! Burns darts in looking for a takedown but Penn gets double underhooks and turns Burns into the cage. Penn wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Penn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sloppy strikes from Burns. Those never looked like landing. Jake Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Burns shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Penn as he jumps to the side. Jake Penn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Burns. Penn connects with a looping right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns shoots in looking for a takedown. Penn tries to sprawl out of it but Burns keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Penn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Penn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Burns throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Penn connects with a good right hand that stumbles Burns. Burns circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Penn connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Burns throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Burns keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Burns looks to land a left hand but Penn moved out of range nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Penn throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Burns on the side of the head. Burns throws a head kick that misses. Burns checks a low kick from Penn. Penn connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Jake Penn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Some wild striking there from Penn.
Burns misses with a body shot.
Penn swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Burns. Penn uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Burns has time to react. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Penn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Penn throws a body shot but no joy. Penn lunges at Burns with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Burns's hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Penn dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Penn lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Penn. Penn misses with a head kick.
Penn throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Burns avoids the body shot from Penn.
Penn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Burns. Penn lands with a good body shot. Penn misses with a double jab.

Nice sprawl there from Penn as Burns shoots in. Penn keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Burns takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Penn scores with a jab. Penn scores with a one two! Burns had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Burns looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Burns is breathing heavily. Penn controlling the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Burns has gone for a leg lock! Penn slips out almost immediately though and dives into Burns's guard. Burns throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Penn dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Penn throws a leg kick but Burns checks it. Penn lands with a nice body punch. Penn throws a right and a left that both miss. Jake Penn is winning the standup battle so far. Penn lands a two punch combo.

Burns is rocked! Penn scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Burns is still on wobbly legs! Can Penn finish him? Penn fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Penn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Penn feints a jab promting Burns to slip. Penn then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Burns slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A cross from Penn lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Penn gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Burns to score an easy takedown into full guard. Penn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Burns tries to free his leg and advance position but Penn is retaining full guard. Burns drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Penn dives on top into guard. Burns seems to have recovered his senses. Penn wanted to stand there but Burns had control of the position. Penn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jake Penn just wasn't active enough. Penn connects with a single shot there. Burns closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Burns drops his hands momentarily and Penn takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Burns looks to land a left hand but Penn moved out of range nicely. Penn stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Penn dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Penn lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Penn. Penn leaves Burns with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Burns takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Penn keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Penn comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice combination there by Penn.
Penn misses with a two punch combination.
Burns moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Penn throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Burns stumbling backwards into the cage! Burns bounces back off the cage towards Penn, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Penn lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Penn celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jake Penn! Andy Burns spoke after the fight, saying 'Thank fans '.
