Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Strummer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johnny Bravo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Strummer!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strummer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bravo.
A jab from Strummer misses.
Bravo fails with the takedown.
Strummer connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Strummer misses with a looping right.
A lazy left from Strummer finds it's target.
Strummer connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bravo momentarily.

enabling Strummer to counter with a crisp jab.
Strummer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bravo.

Strummer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bravo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Strummer has managed to get both his arms back between Bravo's legs - danger averted.

Bravo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Strummer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Strummer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bravo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Strummer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Strummer is trying to control. Bravo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Strummer lands with a hook. Bravo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Bravo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Strummer.
Bravo ducks right into an uppercut from Strummer.
Strummer throws out a loose jab but Bravo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Johnny Bravo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Strummer cracks a nice hook into Bravo's ribs.
Bravo takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Strummer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Strummer throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Strummer misses with a series of wild punches.
Bravo takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bravo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Bravo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Strummer is trying to defend but Bravo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bravo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Strummer sees it coming and defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bravo drops back looking for a leg! Strummer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Strummer manages to kick Bravo off! Bravo jumps back into Strummer's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Strummer lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Bravo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Strummer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Strummer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Strummer in particular looking to stall.

Strummer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bravo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Strummer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bravo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Strummer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bravo is just riding it out for now. Strummer eventually gives up the hold.

Johnny Bravo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Well, if Strummer is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Let's hope that Strummer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Strummer. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Well Strummer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
