Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zander Freyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jens Pedersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freyer comes to the cage accompanied by Milquetoast by Helmet. Pedersen has chosen Killing in the name of... as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jens Pedersen!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pedersen misses with a lunging right hand
and Freyer counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Freyer has been working on his boxing with his coaches at WarZone Training Facility 1 in the buildup to the fight.

Freyer throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pedersen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jens Pedersen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Freyer walks into a left hand.
Pedersen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Freyer looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Pedersen fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pedersen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Pedersen misses with a body shot.
Pedersen swings for the body but Freyer moves out of range.
Freyer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pedersen.

Pedersen moves away from the strike by Freyer.
Some bone on bone action there as Pedersen checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Freyer throws a leg kick but Pedersen sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Pedersen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Freyer.

Freyer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Freyer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pedersen manages to avoid it.
Pedersen cracks Freyer with a right hand to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Freyer, right into the meat.

Freyer thows a body shot but no joy.
Pedersen pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The fighters circle momentarily. Pedersen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Freyer throws out a loose jab but Pedersen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pedersen misses with an uppercut. Freyer saw that one coming.
Pedersen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Freyer walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Freyer ducks under a wild hook from Pedersen.
Pedersen looks to score with a jab to the body but Freyer is just out of range.
Pedersen takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Pedersen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Freyer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A bone on bone clash there as Pedersen blocks the leg kick.
Freyer throws a hook to the side of Pedersen's head but Pedersen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A swing and a miss from Pedersen.

Pedersen avoids the body shot from Freyer.
Pedersen throws a jab when Freyer was well out of range.
Pedersen misses the shot to the body.
Nice body punch from Pedersen.
Freyer gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Freyer misses with an uppercut. Pedersen saw that one coming.
Pedersen is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Freyer had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Pedersen lands with an uppercut that bounces Freyer off the cage and back into range.
Pedersen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Pedersen missing with a left hand there. Freyer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Pedersen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Freyer moves away.

Freyer moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Freyer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pedersen.
Freyer takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Pedersen takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Freyer throws a jab but it's blocked by Pedersen.
Pedersen looks to score with a jab to the body but Freyer is just out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Freyer swings for the body but Pedersen moves out of range.
Pedersen looks to land a left hand but Freyer moved out of range nicely.
Pedersen thows a left - swing and a miss!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jens Pedersen dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Freyer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pedersen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pedersen connects with a body shot.
Pedersen fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pedersen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Freyer momentarily.
Pedersen instigates a clinch.
Freyer goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Pedersen throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Pedersen pushes off an throws an elbow but Freyer leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Pedersen creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Freyer's defenses.
Freyer tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Pedersen avoids it.
Freyer misses with a hook to the ribs.
Pedersen lands with a left to the head.
Pedersen lands an uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Pedersen scores with a nice short uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Freyer tries to throw a body punch but Pedersen avoids it by throwing Freyer back against the cage.

Pedersen lands an elbow that stopped Freyer in his tracks for a moment.

Freyer tries to work over Pedersen's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Pedersen throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Freyers head.

Freyer struggles to land a body shot inside as Pedersen controls his hands.
Freyer takes a shot to the head.
Pedersen drops Freyer onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Freyer is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Freyer is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pedersen lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Oh Freyer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Freyer misses with a punch to the body.
Pedersen gets through Freyer's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Pedersen lands an elbow inside.
Pedersen lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Freyer to his knees! Pedersen keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Jens Pedersen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
