Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Conan Chulainn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andy Burns told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Conan Chulainn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andy Burns! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chulainn has a takedown stuffed. Chulainn closes the distance and pushes Burns back into the cage. Chulainn has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Burns is trying to keep an underhook but Chulainn manages to get the takedown into half guard. Chulainn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Burns with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Burns keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Chulainn works his way into side control. Burns takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Chulainn is trying to ground and pound but Burns uses the momentary lack of control by Chulainn to regain half guard. Chulainn takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chulainn drops an elbow to the side of Burns's head. Chulainn takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Chulainn working the head and body with strikes. Chulainn looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Chulainn tries to pass to full mount but Burns defends it. Chulainn takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Chulainn not doing much here.
Chulainn thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Burns's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chulainn not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chulainn is stalling here. Burns is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Chulainn seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Burns has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Chulainn sneaks back into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Chulainn pushes Burns off looking to stand but Burns dives back in and keeps control.
Burns maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Chulainn could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Burns has cracked it and Chulainn is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Burns!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Andy Burns! After the fight, Andy Burns was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
