Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ishikawa Goemon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Strummer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goemon comes to the cage accompanied by The Beginning is the End. Joe Strummer has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ishikawa Goemon's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goemon throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Goemon ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Goemon misses with a low kick.
Strummer tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Goemon seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Goemon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Strummer moves in looking to clinch but Goemon pushes him off.

A big left from Strummer misses.
Strummer misses with a looping right.
Goemon throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Strummer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Goemon defends it nicely.
Ishikawa Goemon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goemon tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Strummer is able to avoid easily.
Goemon misses with a straight right.
Goemon digs a good body shot into Strummer's ribs.
Goemon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

A slow jab from Goemon misses its intended target.
Ishikawa Goemon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Goemon throws a low kick but Strummer moves out of range easily.
A swing and a miss from Goemon.
Strummer throws a half hearted mid kick.
Strummer loads up on a big right hand but Goemon slips the punch.
Goemon walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Strummer checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Strummer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Goemon but Goemon pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Strummer takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Goemon throws an overhand right that lands on Strummer's shoulder, as Strummer tries to avoid the shot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Goemon. That's going to slow Strummer down.
Goemon thows a left - swing and a miss!
Goemon throws a solid leg kick but Strummer takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Goemon.
Goemon throws a predictable looking body shot

and Strummer counters with a takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Goemon tries to buck Strummer off but Strummer is having none of it.
Goemon wants to control but Strummer postures up.

Strummer is working to tighten his grip on Goemon's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Goemon has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Strummer is really squeezing tight and eventually Goemon passes out! Strummer breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
