The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mansfield shoots in looking for a takedown but Givens manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mansfield's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Givens looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Mansfield drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mansfield passes Givens's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Mansfield is working for a submission of some sort.
Mansfield wants to work for an arm triangle but Givens is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Givens trying to hold on to Mansfield's head to control him but Mansfield postures up.
Givens is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Mansfield is trying to control the action in half guard but Givens is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Mansfield has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Givens defend it? Mansfield steps over the head and cranks it - Givens is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Mansfield!
