Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Sanus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sum Gai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanus comes into the arena with Shame on the Night blaring out of the sound system. Gai has chosen I'm A Lover Not A Fighter as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanus throws a shot from downtown. Gai moves away and avoids it.

That was a close round but I would say that Lou Sanus will probably get the nod.

Sanus throws a lazy right hand but Gai sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Sanus jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gai walks away with a smile on his face. Sanus gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Gai takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Sum Gai has been cut.
Sanus wants to stall.
Gai stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Gai's coach down at The Exiled BJJ and Wrestling was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gai's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Sum Gai!
In his post fight interview, Sum Gai started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
