The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn thows a body shot but no joy.
Quinn lands a jab to Mateau's midsection.
Quinn swings for the body but Mateau moves out of range.
Quinn misses with a straight right.
Quinn throws a series of strikes that have Mateau backpedaling.
It looks like Alejandro Mateau has been cut.
Quinn lands a nice looking body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Quinn lands with a thumping leg kick.
Quinn misses with a leg kick.
Quinn throws a leg kick but Mateau sees it coming and moves out of range.
Quinn connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mateau momentarily.
Mateau takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Mateau is breathing heavily.
Quinn chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Quinn jabs Mateau to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Quinn misses with a low kick.
Quinn jabs Mateau to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Quinn scores with a hook to the body. Mateau takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Quinn tries to bum rush Mateau with a series of wild strikes but Mateau uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Quinn lands a big right hand that sends Mateau crashing to the mat! Quinn stays standing though and waves Mateau back to his feet!
Mateau is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Quinn connects with a nice cross there... Mateau is looking wobbly and Quinn recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Mateau to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Quinn jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Buster Quinn!
Buster Quinn took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
