Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Schneider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jozef Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schneider comes to the cage accompanied by What Would David Schneider Do?. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Schneider! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jozef Beast! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beast defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Schneider. No luck for Schneider with that takedown attempt. Schneider slips a jab and a cross from Beast.
Beast swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Schneider drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Schneider pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Beast is keeping the position for now. Schneider prevents Beast from getting back to his feet. Schneider wants to control from the top but Beast keeps moving. Schneider postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Schneider postures up in Beast's guard and throws a big left but Beast blocks it. Schneider is looking to pass into half guard but Beast pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Beast is in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beast wants to stand but Schneider has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Beast must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Schneider escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Beast gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Schneider looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Beast passes into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beast tries to stand but Schneider is controlling his head. Schneider tries to get back to half guard but can't. Beast decides to stand back up. Schneider dives in for a single leg takedown but Beast sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Schneider. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schneider looking for a takedown. Beast breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Schneider throws a hook but Beast blocks it. Beast scores with a jab to the head.
Jozef Beast is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Beast misses with a double jab.
Beast scores with the left hand. Schneider knows he should have avoided that one. A punch combination from Beast misses. Nice sprawl there from Beast as Schneider shoots in. Beast ducks under a wild hook from Schneider.

and Beast counters with a nice body shot. Beast is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Beast pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Schneider back to the cage. Beast follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Schneider swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Schneider tries for a takedown but Beast sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Schneider slips a jab and a cross from Beast.

A cross from Schneider lands. David Schneider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schneider throws a hook but Beast avoids it easily. Schneider scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Schneider prevents Beast from escaping the position. Schneider working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Beast is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Schneider has just dragged him back down to the mat. Beast felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Beast parries the strikes from Schneider easily there. Schneider is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Beast to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jozef Beast will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Beast defending well as Schneider loads up on a big left hand. Beast lands a head shot. Schneider closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Beast to the mat! Schneider is pushing down on Beast's leg trying to pass to half guard. Beast is fighting to maintain full guard but Schneider has managed to sneak the leg through. Schneider has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Beast defend it? Schneider steps over the head and cranks it - Beast is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Schneider!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). David Schneider! David Schneider decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. The defeated Jozef Beast had this to say: 'I want to say sorry to my fans! Next time you will see a better fighter. I wasn't prepared for his ground game, but i learned from it. Next fight you will see the real me.'.
