Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Jo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mann has chosen Blue Moon - Supra as his entrance music. James Jo has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, James Jo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dwayne Mann! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mann shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Jo throws a right and a left that both miss. Jo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mann's waist but Mann gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jo off to one side. Nice takedown defense from Jo. No joy for Mann on that attempt. Mann will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mann has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Jo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jo throws a right and a left that both miss. Mann throws a head kick that misses. Mann tries to clinch but Jo is having none of it. Mann tries a head kick but it misses.
Jo takes the fight into the clinch. Mann can't break the clinch.
Jo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jo gets a clinch. Jo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jo has been working on his balance at Elite Training Facility, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Mann. Jo is looking to clinch but Mann is avoiding it.
A punch combination from Jo misses. James Jo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mann.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jo darts in and clinches Mann up against the cage. Mann breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mann changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jo tries to avoid it but Mann manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jo to the ground. Jo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jo throws a combination. Mann tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Dwayne Mann has been cut. Jo instigates a clinch. Jo breaks from the clinch.
Jo tries to clinch up but Mann circles away and keeps his distance. Mann avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mann tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jo throws a one two combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mann throws a sloppy head kick and Jo moves out of range easily. Jo dives in and grabs Mann's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mann pushes down on Jo's head and hops out. Jo throws a right and a left that both miss. Mann tries a head kick but it misses.
Mann misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mann closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jo circles away. James Jo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dwayne Mann.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mann shoots for a double leg takedown but Jo sprawls well. He's pushed Mann's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mann looks winded! Mann tries a head kick but it misses.
Jo gets a clinch. Jo is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Mann can't break the clinch.
Mann's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A slapping body kick lands there for Mann. Mann fails in his attempt to clinch. Jo clinches up against the cage. Jo manages to break the clinch.
Jo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jo stalks Mann and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mann's face. Mann staggers backwards, shaken. Mann tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jo defends well and Mann ends up having to push Jo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Mann's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jo throws a right and a left that both miss. Mann tries to clinch up. Mann keeps the fight on the outside. Jo moves into the clinch successfully.
Mann tries to pull guard but Jo forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Jo breaks the clinch.
Jo clinches up with Mann and pushes him back against the cage. Mann tries to pull guard but Jo holds him up against the cage and eventually Mann drops back down to his feet.
Jo breaks the clinch.
Jo lands a really nice looking cross but Mann seems unphased.
Jo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Jo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mann closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mann lands in his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Jo keeping moving, preventing Mann from controlling successfully. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The ref stands the fighters back up because James Jo just wasn't active enough. Mann misses with a body shot.
Mann tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jo paws at him with a jab and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Jo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dwayne Mann's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Mann is looking to clinch. Mann pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Mann fails in his attempt to clinch. Jo takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Jo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mann tries to break free but Jo pushes him back against the cage. Jo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Mann shoots in but Jo avoids the takedown attempt easily. Mann misses with a wild body shot. Jo scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mann in his tracks. Jo drops Mann with a beautiful combination! Mann stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jo is looking for the KO!
Mann is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Mann closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jo circles away. Mann is still on wobbly legs! Can Jo finish him? Mann wants to clinch up but Jo keeps it at a distance. Mann seems to have recovered his senses. James Jo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Danga de danga de dang - Jo scores with a four punch combination! Mann shoots in looking for a takedown but Jo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mann's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. James Jo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dwayne Mann. Jo Rushes Mann and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Mann is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Jo Piles on the pressure and Mann crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
