Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Seth Probert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ala Toni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ala Toni will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Seth Probert! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ala Toni! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Toni throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Probert. Probert looks to land a combination but Toni avoids it well. Toni throws a right hand that Probert ducks under and follows up with a left that Probert also avoids with ease. Toni tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Toni gets caught flat footed, as Probert shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Probert stays in close to Toni's body and controls the position. Probert seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Toni for as long as he can get away with. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Probert won't allow Toni to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Probert content to stall in guard here. Probert with a flurry of punches that miss. Probert controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Probert's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Seth Probert just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Toni throws a right and a left that both miss. Probert looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Toni!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Probert looking to control and managing it successfully. Probert has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Probert with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Probert won't let Toni get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Toni looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Probert lands a heavy elbow. Probert takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Probert unloading with bombs! Probert landing strikes from the mount. Probert controlling the pace for now. Probert has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Seth Probert dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
A head kick misses from Toni. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Toni throws a series of punches but Probert avoids them all with ease. Probert shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Toni pinned against the cage. Toni gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Toni throws a head kick that misses. A head kick by Probert misses and Toni counters with a nice body kick.
No luck for Probert with that takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Probert looks to throw a body kick and Toni counters with a head kick. That will keep Probert thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Toni showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Probert.
Toni throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Probert misses with a leg kick and Toni counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Probert is lucky that one didn't land flush. Probert looks to score with a jab to the body but Toni is just out of range. Toni misses with a double jab.
Seth Probert is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Probert gets the takedown into side control. Toni tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Probert is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Toni is breathing heavily. Toni trying to get back to his feet but Probert is in full control for now. Probert trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Toni doesn't escape. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Toni looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Probert has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Toni. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Seth Probert dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Probert throws a sloppy head kick and Toni counters with a flying knee. Nice. Probert misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Probert shoots for a takedown but Toni saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Toni connects with a high kick. Toni takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Probert drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Probert prevents Toni from getting back to his feet. Probert slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Probert pushing down on Toni's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Toni blocking the ground and pound attempt from Probert. Probert is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Probert wants to free his trapped foot but Toni is holding on for dear life with his legs. Probert lands strikes from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Probert with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Probert stops Toni from getting back to his feet.
Probert controlling the action here. Probert frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Probert looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Probert wants to finish this one by submission but Toni is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Probert. Toni is trying to stand. Probert controlling from the full mount. Probert can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Toni is looking to escape. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Toni is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
And that's the end of the fight! Seth Probert showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Probert, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
