The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Namiko gets a clinch.

Thorvaldsson tightens his grip and picks Namiko up, before dumping him to the ground. Namiko manages to land in guard.

Namiko wants to sweep here but Thorvaldsson controlling him for the moment.
Thorvaldsson is in close to Namiko's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Thorvaldsson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Namiko knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Thorvaldsson is nestled in close to Namiko, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Namiko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Thorvaldsson on the ground.
A big strike lands for Thorvaldsson! That's really hurt Namiko and he's turned his back - Thorvaldsson keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Thorvaldsson jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
