Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Kula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoko Gushiken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kula comes to the cage accompanied by Bullet - Bite the Bullet. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalle Kula!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yoko Gushiken!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jorge Garcia and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gushiken lands a head shot.
The fighters circling - Gushiken throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gushiken lands with an uppercut that bounces Kula off the cage and back into range.
Kula closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gushiken circles away.
Nice sprawl there from Gushiken as Kula shoots in.
Kula shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gushiken defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kalle Kula. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gushiken wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kula dives in and grabs Gushiken's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gushiken pushes down on Kula's head and hops out.
Gushiken thuds a left hand into Kula's body.
Kula looks for a takedown but Gushiken sprawls well.
Nice uppercut there from Gushiken.


Kula is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gushiken. Kula does a little dance to reset his feet.
Oh Kula is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gushiken tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kula was well out of range. Poor timing from Gushiken.
Kula seems to have got his legs back now.
Kula shoots in looking for a takedown but Gushiken manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kula's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kula looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Kula pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gushiken is keeping the position for now.

Gushiken uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Kalle Kula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A left lands for Gushiken.
Kula fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gushiken avoids it really well and circles away.
Kula shoots in and drives through. Gushiken sprawls well.
Kula doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Gushiken counters by moving into the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gushiken lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Kula wants to take the fight to the mat but Gushiken manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Gushiken softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Gushiken is working Kula over against the cage.
Gushiken goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Gushiken lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kula backwards.
Gushiken pushes Kula against the cage. Gushiken is working some dirty boxing. Gushiken pushes off with a quick right hook! Kula goes down! Kula tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Gushiken moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yoko Gushiken!
Yoko Gushiken decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Kalle Kula was interviewed post fight and said 'Tonight he was stronger then me, but I'll come back, better and stronger then ever! Thanks to all my fans for showing your support!!'.
