Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lingad swats away the attempt to clinch by Lager. Lager shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lingad pinned against the cage. Lingad gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. An inside leg kick from Lingad misses. Lando Lager seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lingad misses with an uppercut. Lingad misses with a body kick. Lingad misses with a body kick. Lager bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Lingad trying to control but Lager flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Lager wants to control the position but Lingad frees himself and scrambles - Lager manages to regain control in side control.
You can see the frustration on Lingad's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lingad manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Lingad not doing much here.
Lager is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lingad's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lingad's back! Lager is breathing heavily. Lingad breaks Lager's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Lingad wants to pass the guard but Lager is keeping the position. Lager has his hands on Lingad's head, controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lager looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lingad is one step ahead there. Lingad is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Lingad must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lager is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lager not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lingad looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Lingad advances position into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lager tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lingad is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lager's shoulder. That is not cool. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lager wants to control but Lingad postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jon Lingad will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lager checks a leg kick. Lingad stuffs the takedown attempt from Lager. Lager gets slowly back to his feet. Lingad throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lingad pushes Lager up against the cage in a clinch. Lingad breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lingad throws a head kick that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lager takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Lingad scores with a kick to the midsection. A nice inside leg kick there by Lingad. That's going to slow Lager down.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lingad connects with a high kick. Lingad forces Lager back against the cage and clinches. Lingad lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Lager or not. Lager tries to pull guard but Lingad holds him up against the cage and eventually Lager drops back down to his feet.
Lingad manages to break the clinch.
Lingad misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lingad scores with a nice strike. Lingad throws a solid leg kick but Lager takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lingad. Lingad lands a high kick!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lager tries to clinch and Lingad counters with a nice kick to the body. Lingad tries to land a front kick but Lager steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Lingad misses with a wild combination.
Lingad connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Lingad throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Lingad pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Lingad motions for Lager to come forward. Lingad throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Jon Lingad is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lingad fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lager is out of range. Lingad looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Lager tries for a takedown but Lingad circles away easily and Lingad counters with a nice leg kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lando Lager. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lingad throws a nice outside leg kick. Lager uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lingad. Lingad cracks Lager with an open hand slap. Lingad clinches up against the cage. Lingad works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Lingad connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Lager bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Lingad throws the left hand but Lager avoids the punch easily. Lager with a lazy takedown attempt and Lingad counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lingad throws a head kick that misses. Lingad throws a head kick that misses. Lager with a poor takedown and Lingad counters with a thumping low kick. Lando Lager is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lingad lands a head kick. Lager smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Lager walks forward, straight into a front kick from Lingad. Lager with a poor takedown and Lingad counters with an inside leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Lingad showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Lingad lets loose with a powerful body kick. Lager will feel that in the morning. Both fighters are breathing heavily. An inside leg kick lands from Lingad. Lingad throws a head kick that Lager semi-blocks.

Lingad stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Lager shoots and misses and Lingad connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lando Lager. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lingad throws a sloppy head kick and Lager moves out of range easily. Lager takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. A chopping leg kick lands by Lingad. Lingad looks to land a combination but Lager avoids it well. Lingad looks to land a body kick but Lager moved away. Lager chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lingad can pounce on him.
Crunch! Lingad slams his shin into Lager's torso.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lingad lands with a slapping head kick. A chopping leg kick lands by Lingad. Jon Lingad seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lingad misses with a jab, cross combination.

Lager shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lingad counters with an inside leg kick. Lingad looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Lager will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice body punch from Lingad. Lingad with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lingad throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lager's head. Lager sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Lager takes a kick to the side of the head. Lager shoots and misses and Lingad counters with a two punch combo. Lingad drives through and clinches with Lager against the cage.
Lingad manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Lingad lands a knee to the head.
Jon Lingad is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Lingad has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lager is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lingad pulls him back up using the underhooks. Lingad escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lager shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lingad counters with a slapping leg kick. Lager takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lingad.
Lager is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Lingad throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lager. Lager on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lingad. Lingad obviously looking to wear him down.
Lando Lager has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lingad misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Jon Lingad comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lingad has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
