Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitch The Boulder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Dixon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mitch The Boulder! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Boulder rushes Dixon and presses him up against the cage. Dixon successfully pulls guard.
Dixon trying to control the position.
Dixon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but The Boulder can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The Boulder wants to control from the top but Dixon keeps moving. Dixon striking off his back but it's not causing The Boulder any problems. The Boulder trying to control but Dixon is working from the bottom. Dixon is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dixon looking to hit a scissor sweep but The Boulder is one step ahead there. Dixon is controlling The Boulder's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Mitch The Boulder hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. The Boulder throws a head kick but Dixon moves out of range.
The Boulder just misses with a punch to the body.
The Boulder fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. The Boulder gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dixon counters with a takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on The Boulder's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The Boulder looks to move to half guard but instead Dixon has passed into mount! Damn!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dixon has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of The Boulder's face.
Dixon looking for a guillotine from mount but The Boulder is having none of it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee warns The Boulder that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Dixon is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! The Boulder is forced to tap! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Chad Dixon!
