Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Wiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike McDaniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wiz's entrance music is SouthSide. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDaniel on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
McDaniel moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Mike McDaniel has been cut.
McDaniel steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wiz.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that McDaniel has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Mike McDaniel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wiz is looking to clinch but McDaniel is avoiding it.
McDaniel throws a right and a left that Wiz avoids nicely.
McDaniel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wiz as he jumps to the side.
Wiz throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McDaniel on the side of the head.

McDaniel moves into range and clinches up with Wiz.
Wiz tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

McDaniel jumps guard but Wiz stands there with McDaniel around his waist. McDaniel gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Big Wiz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike McDaniel.

McDaniel is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wiz pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Wiz drops McDaniel onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! McDaniel is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Wiz lands with a short head shot on the inside.
McDaniel is still on wobbly legs! Can Wiz finish him?
Still in the clinch, Wiz scores with a nice short uppercut.
Wiz creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends McDaniel's eyes rolling into the back of his head! McDaniel drops to his knees and Wiz pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
