The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skipper looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Santiago is fending him off so far but Skipper persists. Nope, Santiago circles away and we're back to standing. Skipper misses with a looping left. Santiago doesn't manage to clinch there - Skipper circles away.

It looks like Mason Skipper has been cut. Mason Skipper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Santiago is looking to clinch but Skipper is avoiding it.

Santiago uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Skipper. Skipper shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Skipper showed some decent athleticism there. Santiago really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Santiago tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Skipper is working for takedown but Santiago is calmly controlling the position for now. A short right hand to the side of the head by Santiago.
Skipper is rocked! Santiago working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Skipper is still on wobbly legs! Can Santiago finish him? Santiago unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Skipper! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Santiago is unloading with more strikes now! Skipper drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
