Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Crasher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Flint! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Winston Howard and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crasher tries to move into range but Flint moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Crasher lands with a kick to the temple. Flint shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Flint tries to land a leg kick but Crasher saw it coming and moves away.
Crasher seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Crasher with a poor takedown and Flint counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Crasher! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Crasher is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Flint asserts his dominance and retains side control. Flint in side control, throwing shots but Crasher defends. Crasher seems a little lost for a moment, as Flint dominates the positioning. Flint landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Flint taking a breather here. Flint grinds an elbow into Crasher's temple. Flint lands a nice forearm strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flint is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Crasher is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Crasher takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Crasher tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Flint wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Crasher is working hard here to advance position. Crasher is breathing heavily. Flint looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Flint has knee on belly momentarily but Crasher bucks him off and regains half guard. Flint looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flint is trying to control. Crasher wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Flint stalling. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Flint throwing shots but Crasher is blocking nicely. Flint controlling the action here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Crasher wants to get back to full guard. Flint controlling the pace.
Chris Flint has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Flint avoids the body shot from Crasher.

Flint tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Crasher defends well and Flint ends up having to push Crasher into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Crasher has Flint pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Flint manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Crasher blocks a body shot from Flint. Crasher jumps guard but Flint stands there with Crasher around his waist. Crasher gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Crasher keeps control of Flint as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Crasher swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Crasher tries to score a body lock takedown but Flint shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Crasher throws a head punch that misses. Crasher's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Flint scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Flint landing a few strikes. Flint has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Madz . Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Flint advances nicely into full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Flint with good strikes from the mount here! Flint is in the full mount, landing strikes. Flint sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Crasher taking shots to the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Flint with a couple of short strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Flint dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Flint throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Crasher fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Chris Flint has got the better of the ground game so far. Flint has gone for a leg lock! Crasher slips out almost immediately though and dives into Flint's guard. Flint is adopting a defensive guard. Crasher trying to control the position from guard on top but Flint is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crasher would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Flint is adopting a defensive guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Chris Flint wasn't active enough on the ground. Flint drives through with a takedown into Crasher's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flint is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Flint must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Flint slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Flint is pushing down on Crasher's leg trying to pass to half guard. Crasher is fighting to maintain full guard but Flint has managed to sneak the leg through. Flint not doing much here.
Flint wants to take a breather but Crasher is having none of it. Crasher tries to kick Flint off but Flint keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Flint is figuring out what he wants to do next. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Flint postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Crasher to stand up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flint feints a jab promting Crasher to slip. Flint then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Crasher slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Crasher walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Flint feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Flint cracks Crasher with a solid left hand. Flint with a flurry of punches that miss. Flint trying to control but Crasher is working from the bottom. Flint is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Flint lands a couple of decent looking shots. Crasher is trying to keep Flint in close.

Flint controlling the action here. Flint works his way into full mount! This has been an exciting period of action! Flint is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Crasher can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Flint controlling from the full mount. Flint has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Flint wants to control the pace but Crasher is squirming around nicely. Flint connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Crasher tries to hold on but Flint pushes him away. Flint lands a heavy elbow. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Flint cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Crasher is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Flint with a couple of short strikes. Oh Crasher is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Flint postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Crasher badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Flint around the waist but Flint pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Flint is the winner by TKO! Flint jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
