The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Archer slips a jab from Reynolds.
Reynolds misses with a looping left.
Archer misses with a double jab.
Reynolds throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Reynolds scores with a jab to the body.
Reynolds lands a glancing blow to the side of Archer's head.

Archer closes the distance and clinches.
Archer tries for a takedown but Reynolds manages to get underhooks.

Archer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A swing and a miss from Reynolds.
Archer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Reynolds takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A lazy left from Reynolds finds it's target.
Reynolds connects with a nice looking jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Reynolds looks to score with a jab to the body but Archer is just out of range.
Reynolds moves out of range of the body kick.
Archer misses with a body kick.
Reynolds with a hook.
Ronaldo Reynolds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Archer takes the fight into the clinch.

Reynolds wants to break free but Archer has control.
Archer is trying to drag Reynolds to the mat but Reynolds just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Archer has Reynolds pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Reynolds manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Archer. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Reynolds might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Archer moves in looking to clinch but Reynolds pushes him off.

Archer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Reynolds jabs Archer to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Reynolds lands a jab to the nose.

Archer is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Reynolds gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Reynolds scores with a crisp jab that stopped Archer in his tracks.

Reynolds comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Reynolds connects with a crisp jab.
Oh Archer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Reynolds throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Archer crashing down! Archer tries to stagger back to his feet but Reynolds just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Archer asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
